After years of research and development, Brault aluminum dump bodies have become well established in the gravel dump market. They are just as strong and durable as steel dump bodies while retaining all the advantages of aluminum.
They are manufactured using our exclusive 6061-T6 aluminum extrusions, a high-quality alloy. The walls and tailgate feature a double-wall design, providing greater rigidity than single-wall construction. The mirror-polished finish on the visible surfaces ensures long-lasting aesthetics with minimal maintenance.
Thanks to their innovative design, aluminum dump bodies are significantly lighter than steel. For example, an approximate weight saving of 1,500 kg (3,300 lb) can be achieved compared to a steel dump body of the same size (19’). Several options are available to customize your dump body and maximize its efficiency based on your needs.
All Brault mirror-polished dump bodies are delivered with SBClear anti-corrosion coating. This nanotechnology-based product preserves the finish over time and makes maintenance easier.

Including the truck, the total weight of a Brault landscaping dump body is under 4,500 kg (9,920 lb), offering a major advantage in terms of payload capacity and efficiency.
The floor, designed 2 to 4 inches lower than conventional dump bodies, improves accessibility and maximizes usable space while lowering the center of gravity for better stability.
Its design also features a fully flat subfloor, preventing the accumulation of mud and snow, which greatly simplifies maintenance and cleaning.

The side walls are made from 3/16” thick 5052 aluminum, offering greater strength compared to competing products. The floors and headboards are built using Brault extrusions, ensuring an even more rigid and durable structure.
Equipped with a 7-ton capacity telescopic cylinder, they allow for efficient and safe unloading. Available in 6’ and 8’ sizes, they easily fit most trucks with a quick and simple installation.
Lightweight (under 500 lb), they can be removed in less than an hour with minimal tools. With a capacity of approximately 2.5 cubic yards (63 ft³) for the 8’ model, they are an excellent alternative to landscaping dump bodies while protecting the truck’s original bed.
